The Philadelphia Shelter Home was established in 1980 to serve the surrounding communities in Kent and Sussex County. We currently shelter to the homeless and disadvantaged by meeting the basic human needs, offering advocacy & case management, facilitating social interaction and creating a supportive community for families, single men and women with children. We help individuals regain control over the crisis in their life, effectively and immediately.
Childcare services are available to all working parents, those in the community and anyone that participates in one of our programs. Services are available for working parents for the hours of 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and we do accept Purchase of Care.
